A Santa Barbarian, Olivia Rojas founded Abelleti (ability) a made up word meaning "a beautiful little thing". Abelleti's mission is to provide decision makers with confidential, accurate and timely access to internal financial information


Olivia provides organizations with a full suite of tools and expertise, such as bookkeeping and cash flow management, budgeting, insurance oversight and compliance. She can also set up financial software and systems, modernizing accounting systems and improving the financial, and administrative processes

Olivia has spent her career partnering with small business, nonprofit, and local government agency decision makers and leaders to build financial stability and success.


Her expertise spans a variety of industries, such as non-profit, construction, legal, real estate, e-commerce, organic food & chocolate importing and distribution, fashion apparel design & wholesale and local government parks and utilities special districts. She’s earned national recognition for her work, receiving the Distinguished Budget Award awarded from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) for four consecutive years, but what truly sets her apart is her ability to make financial oversight feel accessible and manageable. She also received the Ethics Award from the Santa Barbara City College Accounting Department and A Business Writing Award from the Business Department at UC Santa Barbara.




With a passion for Santa Barbara’s artist community, Olivia’s been collaborating with the Santa Barbara International Film Festival (SBIFF) for over a decade, ensuring that one of the city’s most beloved events stays financially fit year after year.






Education



Olivia’s love for finance started early. She first earned multiple bookkeeping certifications followed by associate degrees in Business Administration, Economics, and Managerial Economics from Santa Barbara City College before continuing her education at UC Santa Barbara, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics with emphasis in Accounting.


With a strong academic foundation, she stepped into the world of accounting and financial management, taking on roles that allowed her to refine her expertise in budgeting, fund accounting, and organizational financial planning. Over the years, she’s worn many hats—business owner, outsourced controller, financial strategist—but at the heart of it all, her goal has remained the same: to empower decision-makers, leaders and other stakeholders by providing them with timely and accurate financial information.
